Default SB1 frame with chamber inserts?

I saw some pretty interesting chamber inserts for sale, where you can convert your break action shotgun to shoot centerfire pistol rounds. I have an pardner 410 on an SB1 frame, and I know from the FAQ that the SB1 frame is meant for lower shotgun pressure levels and NOT centerfire rifle calibers.

The insert I am looking at is for a .380 pistol round. The .380 pressure is listed at 21,500, while 410 makes about 14,000. Would the .380 be safe to shoot from an SB1 frame? What are the safe pressure limits for an SB1?

Also, from what I understand the SB1 and SB2 can have different firing pin sizes? Would the SB1 firing pin work with a centerfire pistol cartridge?

Thank you!

Get one for 9 mm, it will be cheaper to shoot.

You will find the inserts in typical low pressure pistol calibers work fine. The .410 is a fairly small bore so not too much available above .32 cal. due to the minimum chamber wall thickness needed. The 12 and 20 ga have more options.

Chaszel does nice work, I have several of his.

Interests wide and widely varying.
Happily married 18 years. Retired on SS with lots of time to spend.
Started with .223 Ultra Bull barrel. Added .357 Talo barrel. Added an action and stock set bought here, 7.62x39 barrel. Then bought complete guns .444 Marlin and .300 Blackout. Leaving me at 4 complete rifles plus a barrel. Plus a 9mm stub job bought here, and I have been finding and buying H&R shotguns at our local pawn shop where they seem to go cheap.

What kind of real-world accuracy does one get with these inserts?

Here are 5 pages of discussion on adapters from the FAQs.
