Default In New Orleans They Hollered Help! In Texas, Hold My Beer!

When we had millions of acres burning in the Texas Panhandle, we volunteered flatbed trucks loaded with FREE surplus hay from my area of Texas to feed their cattle.
Now, there are lines of pickups going into Houston from here pullin boats.
Texas is, and has always been a "hold my beer, I got this, State".

THAT is the TRUE nature of Socialism, not the perverted political version everyone seems to point too. WE are a social animal and when given the opportunity to help each other we usually come thru. Cheers to all who are going down to Houston (yewston) to help!!!

"yewston". Maybe to you but not anywhere around here. I have heard Lubbock pronounced Lub-ick many times, usually by people from the northern climes, but I've never heard the H left off of Houston although it is amazing at the number of people that can't spell it correctly.

Don't beat your chest too hard. Cruz is wanting some of my Ohio tax money to help out Texas. We are all in this country together to help each other when the need arises.

Happy to help out in this type of situation. Donating blood tomorrow. It's the whiners that cry for help all the time that are just to lazy or ''entitled'', that tick me off. gypsyman

Have you noticed that the majority of those lending a hand are racist white males that according to many on the left, the country would be better without.

No, that is charity. It is given freely. We are a charitable animal. Socialism is forced.

Aim small, miss small!!!

I noticed that too. The left hates people like the Cajun Navy.

That seems to be partly correct..... my wife and I have been checking every available picture of the disaster in Huston for faces and have noticed that the majority of people helping are either white or latinos.
