Actually Shootall, your case is nothin like this Houston case. This is more fake news about a house in Houston Texas, that had been under surveillance for more than two weeks, and at least 1 controlled buy of cocaine had been made there from the two that were killed.
The reason it was a no knock warrant, is because during the controlled buy, the dealer brandished a 9mm pistol.
Another "rush to judgment response" with no credible information.
Wednesday Houston Police Department even released a copy of the search warrant.
They knew exactly where they were going, and what they were looking for, and they found it. Cocaine, and marijuana, the pistol, and several shotguns.

Have they indicated that they recovered drugs at the scene? I believe that was still unresolved. That and no 9mm had been reported as recovered. I read the warrant the HPD chief tweeted, so the officers went to the address ordered. If there was an address mix up, it was in the process of requesting a warrant, which is not impossible to imagine. I'll wait and see how this goes. Wouldn't be the first nice older quiet couple to run a drug house.

One of my Federal officers was shot during a late night misunderstanding by local PD. They had given his inebriated wife a courtesy ride home. Due to the late hour, and the neighborhood he lived in, he answered the knock on his door with his duty weapon in his hand. People started screaming, and went downhill from there with him losing his leg. Most of these things can be chalked up to ignorance, not malice.

What rush ? Others stated it was a mistake and we had a case similar in VA if it was a mistake if it wasn't then no.

So a legally investigated, search warrant is ran, and it's a mistake?

Thanks, I had read that from the buy before the warrant, but I hadn't seen it from the raid yet. Shaping up to be righteous.
