This guy is suppose to be the hot rod of knee surgery and is highly recommended.
I guess I'll get good, or bad, news tomorrow from the best.
You have my prayers, sympathy and empathey.
I did a number on one knee back when I landscaped full-time and it got me to hobbling more than walking for years but I went to see an orthopedic doctor, he worked on for twenty minutes and it was better than it had been in decades, not prefect but a world of difference.
Godspeed Dan.

just me - i think it's a pretty much evenly divided two-way street.

companies know how long they can put off paying legitimate
charges from an honest doctor. as time goes by, it gets worse
and worse and the merry-go-round spins faster. and the lawyers
hop on about mid way. the poor patient is the one that gets spun
off and flung to the ground.

i say that because i've seen the way automotive insurers finegle
with repairmen when it comes to major mechanical work and body
work. they want to use the absolute cheapest cheap ***t that can
be used, and try to cut labor to the bone. i know many many excellent
mechanics and paint and body men who have gotten into other
fields or retired early. one of my good friends and one of the best
body and paint men i know finally closed up his shop and does
building and contracting work now with about 1/2 the hassle of
dealing with details like he had to when he ran his body shop.

my old doctor closed up shop after obama care came into being.
he said if he wanted to not get paid while still dishing out money
for employees and overhead, he'd just stay at home everyday
and sit watch t.v. in his drawers.

I just came across a procedure called "COOLIEF". I've had 3 arthroscopic knee surgeries. 1 was about 10 yrs ago and last 2 were last summer. I get the synvisc shots every 6 months for the last 5 years and they were great to start with, but not much now. I'm scheduled to get more shots end of June. I'm going to call my Dr. tomorrow and ask about this procedure. From what I've read they basically burn the nerves in your knees that transmit the pain so you don't feel it. It's supposed to last 6 months to a year. I think it's worth checking into. Robert
