Default Going To See A Knee Specialist Tomorrow

Well, tomorrow is the day. Me and Linda are going to a doctor that specializes in knees and hips. That's all he does so maybe he can help us.
2 surgeons have told me they can help me with the pain but, no knee replacement. Too much damage. Linda also.

This guy is suppose to be the hot rod of knee surgery and is highly recommended.
I guess I'll get good, or bad, news tomorrow from the best.

Good luck to you. The "helping with pain" stuff doesn't fix anything just hides it. If this doctor can't/won't help, keep looking.

I had an ankle replacement 2 years ago. 2 years prior to that a surgeon told me there was to much damage and he couldn't replace it just fuse it. I didn't like that option so I decided to suffer with it. I made it a couple years and just couldn't take it anymore so I went to a different surgeon. He told me that yup its damaged a lot and yup its going to take some extra work but he said it sure could be done. He did it and it was like hitting a light switch. I have a bit of soreness if I walk a lot but theres a difference in soreness and PAIN. Funny thing is dad and I went to camp yesterday and on the way there we were talking. He had a knee replacement done last year. He said his biggest regret was waiting so long to do it because he was nervous. I know we don't get along but I do hope you find a competent surgeon that can get you fixed up.

Well neckisred everybody tells us the follow up therapy is the key.
So far know one has said they could do the replacement.
We're hoping this doctor will.

My mom had her left knee done 2 years ago at 78 and her right knee done this spring at 80. 2 different doctors. Left knee still bothers her a little, right knee was done March 26th. I took care of her both times and the only suggestion I can make is DO YOUR THERAPY!!!!!!!!

I had a knee replacement when I was 48. It was bone on bone. Mine was done by a local ortho surgeon. It lasted but two years. His excuse was that I was too far gone and he should not have attempted it but I signed the waiver anyway. So I went to a knee specialists in the big city. He cut everything out and started over. I've been going like a mad man on it ever since. My fit bit said that I walked almost 300 miles last year during pheasant season. It did ache at the end of an all day hunt but nothing a couple of Ibuprofen couldn't fix. I am going on 14 years since the specialist fixed me up with nothing but good to say about it!
