At some point that is likely to become necessary for humans to have any kind of a quality life. You can't rely on education for a solution and we can't keep breeding like mindless starving Somalies. I'm speaking of the world as a whole not specifically the United States although the highest birth rate here is among the people the least likely to be able to afford children.

No buy they sure can cover themselves with Tattoos from head to toe and all parts in between I see women in WalMart with 3 or 4 children would be nice looking if not covered in tattoos and nothing in the basket but unhealthy food. Look at that woman on American pickers they ruin their looks with them or am I behind the times, if so I don't wont to catch up.

You guys have picked up a sore spot with me...and we seem to agree.

When an attractive person plasters on these feeble efforts at "art", they are telling God that his efforts in designing them was a failure.

So cutting and combing our hair or using make up trying to improve our looks is telling God he did not do a good enough job ?
The Bible tells us no death tattoos . So the ones that say in memory might be sinful. Not sure others are though. And I would not get one . I have seen some that were works of art at least for several years any way.
I have a hard time thinking tats are as bad as abortion . I feel abortion is leading us to **** as a nation.

No...in no way am I comparing tats to abortion..the buzzing of a needle or what ever, doesn't compare to killing.

I just don't see the need of such things. A couple special ironies... When we see somebody working for minimum wage, sporting hundreds or thousands of dollars in ink..or worse yet, when we see somebody painted practically head to toe and using food stamps to buy their grub.

I guess we can all have an opinion, but for an attractive young woman to deface her body like that, is sacrilege (IMO).

Others see it as attractive, I see it as grotesque.

Some tats may not be "all bad".. some women have their eyebrows tatted on for various reasons, one of which is post cancer or some other disease in which the hair falls out and they still want to look like a semblance of their former self. But, as a whole, spending money on "body art" is to me a sign of self loathing...though I "get" the comradery of tattoos depicting serious events that tie human souls together - in preparation of battle, remembering those who gave all, etc. Sometimes a tat is a sign of rebellion as in the character of Kelsey Grammer in "Down Periscope":
Rear Admiral Yancy Graham said:
Now, call me a prude if you want, but I don't think it's good policy for the Navy to hand over a billion-dollar piece of equipment to a man who has "Welcome Aboard" tattooed on his [Johnson].
Now that's funny right there...

I see tattoos as a alarming, unwanted defacing of Gods creation. It goes along with the billions of pounds of garbage in our oceans and our land. And as women & men age their body art sags and becomes mishapened. Looks gross then if not when they were younger.

One time in Tulsa at a gun show there was a very attractive young woman working one of the tables she had on a pair of hot pants and a pair of I thought hose that had vines flowers and greenery that ran all the way from her foot to the hips turned out on second look that the what I thought were a pair of hose were Tattoos wonder what they will look like in 60 years or when she has a knee or hip replacement?

We have no idea of the daemons that haunt the souls of others leading them down the pathway to tattoos. For some, it is a high degree of self loathing. For others, it's a way to fit in with the crowd. There are a million different reasons.

My wife has a curved music line and roses on her back right shoulder to match the one (she tells me) on her daughter's back right shoulder, which they had done one night together in San Antonio. She had it before I met her. She talks about needing to "refresh" it. I wish it was not even there and try to ignore it as it is neither practical or inspirational. She cannot even see it where it is - so what was the point? And the pain, chance of infection, perhaps even poor artwork (refresh), and continual change over time as it ages - why?

Tattoos are NOT for me. I have scars from the things I did wrong that remind me not to do that again or that form the foundation of understanding which occurs when bad decisions are outlived.

Oh, for those that wish to REMOVE tattoos, here's your relief:

That may not be that far fetched.
China allows the birth of males.
What an army they are inadvertently building.

You are both correct in your own way;

Yes, it is a tragedy that a person would be born under the yoke of socialism or it's brother communism.

Now, try to inform about 50% of the congress of that fact !

Still, the only way I can confidently speak for God, is by using his own words:

8
Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
9
Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy. (Prov 31:8,9 NKJV)

Bob me and you have disagreed in the past and will probably do so in the future. Kill the babie so it suffers the only real consequence of life now so that it does not suffer life itself...

Again, I repeat;

8
Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
9
Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy. (Prov 31:8,9 NKJV)

I don't wish to be a boor, but as I repeat this warning, I must quote Martin Luther;

" Here I stand, I can do no other, so help me God. .Amen"

proverbs

8
Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
9
Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy. (Prov 31:8,9 NKJV)
A wonderful and caring sentiment.
Thank you.
