I did not know that Connecticut was a farming state.

Out here in "flyover country" - in the farming states - we know that you reap what you sow.

It looks like the folks in Connecticut are learning this now.

While I don't live in CT, I have travelled there at different times. Yes, they do have farming there, and some a re surprised that CT grows tobacco.

From what I understand, it is very high quality broadleaf tobacco..mostly grown in the shade, and used for cigar wrappers.

I am far from knowledgeable about tobacco, but I read that CT has about 34,000 acres of tobacco.
