I used to work for Walmart. The week leading up to black Friday and several days after were the pits. Formerly decent people pushing and shoving, some taking things they wanted out of someone elses cart, fistfights, one man actually dove theough several people to wrap his arms around a computer he wanted, others fighting over the same item. All that crap is sored in numerous trailers in the back lot, then has to be pulled and stocked at the same time. Employees should get combat pay. One guy was moving but not looking and ran right into my chest and bounced off. CHARLIE.
i don't doubt any of this ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
i haven't been to one in a long time and won't if i can help it.
the last time was to get a cheap microwave, and needless to
say they were out by the time i could get parked and inside.
i figured out folks were grabbing stuff just to be grabbing it
and were grabbing things they really didn't need or want just
so they could say they had one and someone else didn't. i
got behind one lady and her kids that had grabbed up one of
the sale microwaves and she didn't want it at all and she had
one of her kids set it out of the cart so she would have room
to grab something else she didn't want, and i grabbed it up
and got in line.
i don't think i'd go through that mess again even if they did
have microwaves for $20.00 again. i think i'd as soon pay
all that mess just shows how we're going away from being
civilized and heading back toward more primitive behavior
