Default A drunk ran through our fence last night.

The Deputy's woke us up and and said they had been chaseing him earlier. He slid off the road from what
they could tell, hit the fence, then they must have got out and ran off. Stolen car in 2019,expired everything,
took out about 20 feet of fence and landed in the yard. Booze bottles all over the floorboards.

Smashed up the car pretty good so they are impounding it and towing it off. They are trying to find the owner
from what the old cards say, and what they have on file but they haven't been able to find them.
So I guess I'll be calling my home insurance this morning with a police report.

All I can say is Dam!! That's a metal fence he must have hit it hard. Skid marks all over the road, that car is toast.
It looks like he lost it and broadsided the fence. Air bag didn't go off but he had to be hauling a$$.

He's probably close by all dinged up in the fetal position in someone's bushes. Watch for buzzards circling in a few days!

I hope all goes well with your insurance company Argent11. That's kinda getting to be a crap shoot too these days.

Odd, co-worker just told me the story of last weekend where a similar event happened to him. Someone stole a UTV and was breaking through fences and tearing up yards and fields. Driver was high or drunk one, cops had been chasing him for hours. He never heard it until the police knocked on his door.

These days home owner deductibles are so high you'll likely have to foot the entire bill yourself.

Yup that's what I figure also. Another Deputy just told me that this guy had already taken out a speed limit
sign up the road. He must have been so smashed that he was all over the place. They are up there right now
measuring all the skid marks he left on the road. They estimate around 50 or 60 mph when he finally crashed.

OMG, there are pieces of that car all over the place out there. I didn't see them in the dark but now the sun is up.
Fenders , door parts, grill, glass, molding, lights, a lot of plastic stuff. I can't see how they walked away from that.
And you can see where the idiot still tried to drive it off and got stuck in the mud.

Well, it's good that you didn't wake up with the idiot and car in your bedroom. The fence can be fixed!

They were out here taking pictures and stuff. They think they know who he is and they want him.
Twice deported, robbed a store. Lucky me huh looking at this debis field, this
jerk has to be injured.

Insurance says they are going to pay for any repairs. No fault or weather claim.

Good thing they hit your fence, you won't cover up for them.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus
