The buildings are what is left of the farm place my wife grew up on. The other pics are the surrounding countryside.

To me, dilapidated farm place pictures like that are heart-breaking.
Too many around here too.

A lot of those old abandoned homesteads up here too. When I see one I always wonder what happened to the people, and what was the story behind them becoming abandoned.

It's the same in Ne, the road to the farm I grew up on had 5 farm steads,now only one,it's the one I own

Sorry... I never liked Kansas and pretty sure never will. Longest state I ever passed through. Flat as heil and could not wait to get out...

I didn't mind Kansas. As long as it was summer
Winters were horrible and to cold for us.

I have only passed through Kansas and it was long. I was pulled over by a state highway patrolman. He looked like a 55 gallon drum with arms and legs. That guy was at least 350 #’s and solid. What are they feeding these guys?
