Here to Bob. We had 30 inches of snow last February but only 3 inches this February. I haint for shucks when it comes to tracking coyotes on bare frozen ground. Suppose to be 60 tomorrow and 63 on Sunday with three grandkids at our house. Grandma says good to the temps as the kids can play outside. I say yeah in the mud!

You know what we say in Ohio,

Even the Geese have enough brains to leave Michigan in the winter.

Water fowl are odd.
Near here there is a spot on Highway 15, actually next to the Highway Patrol Office, where the road ditch always has cattails and water.
As often as I drive that stretch , it was during some of coldest days ducks were flying around, not a few but groups of four to eight, coming out of and gong back down.

That is definitely weather, and you folks seem to never run short of it. I plow roads for a living now days (30 years) but we get a break (usually) between big snows. When do your plow drivers sleep, May? I'm Wisconsin tough but I'll tip my hat to you Yoopers. ****, it must be like , get up, make coffee, move snow, repeat.

You can keep your snow and ice. That's why I moved to Virginia.

And I moved to Alabama.

I had too much of the stuff when I was a kid in Pennsylvania and upstate NY.

yup its actually been a mild winter here too. Usually that road closes 3 or 4 times a year and this is the first time this year. Probably at least 18 inches less snow in the front yard then last year at this time.
