It must be pretty good or real wood is getting scarce! Fiberon Decking is made here in Misenheimer NC and the plant runs 24/7 to keep up production demands. Most of it is exported. It's tough and durable plastic.
I replaced my deck with it 2 years ago, not long enough ago to really say yet. The original wood deck was only 10 years old and you could literally fall through it in places and I changed some boards at about 6 years. I felt like I had no choice but to try it because the treated lumber does seem to last anymore. Mine also faces the West with no trees and gets the full afternoon sun, that is hard on it too. I do really like it so far.
