I had a brand new 12 ga. pardner, I had mike shorten it to 22 in. and put invector threads in it. you can see he got it right back to me. I had the tubes so he didn't furnish one but I tried a Carlson flush fit and it was perfect. It really makes a neat fast handling gun out of it. Oh don't expect a lot of conversation, he usually answered emails in one word.

I have 2 HR 12 gauge singles and 3 extra barrels. Also have a lathe and tooling for Tru Choke tubes. I have cut and threaded all 5 barrels and installed Carlson flush tubes..... great set up. Have also threaded all of my 12 ga Mossberg and Remington barrels, except one that had too small of an OD, total of around 16 barrels. Also did my Mossberg Shockwave. Will be doing my 4 FedArms SS12 single shots when I receive the .720 pilot bushing from Dave Manson Reamers next week. The cool thing about the TruChoke threading is that the Stiletto Breacher (only comes in TruChoke threads) fron Standard Mfg, the people who make the DP12 ,can then be installed. When the SS12 s are done, will have successfully threaded 20 + barrels. It is a lot of fun and I have saved big bucks by doing it myself. Can complete a barrel from start to finish in around 40 minutes. I take my time and thoroughly remove chips with a vacuum every .125 inch of reaming.. using DoDrill cutting oil, thoroughly clean bore before and after tapping with brake cleaner, thoroughly clean bore and outside of barrel, remove sharp edge on muzzle od, re-blue face of muzzle, and then coat inside and outside with RemOil. It is a lot of fun and keeps an old retired guy busy doing something constructive.

My old Topper 490 Jr has always shot very left and I finally found out why. The last half inch of the barrel is crooked to the left. Try as I might I couldn't straighten it. Got out my tubing cutter and cut it to 24" for 26", she's straight and square now. Found a local guy that will thread it for $85.
