Default Cut down barrel and add choke tubes?

Has anyone here, had a barrel cut down and added choke tubes?
Seriously thinking about doing this to a 20 ga. Ideally 22 inch plus new. Choke system... Who did it and what the price?
Looking for advice

There was a guy doing barrels on fleabay not sure if he still does. There was one for sale here too. Another option in the $150 range is a Savage 301 which is threaded. I have one in 20 gauge and the barrels swap between it and my H&R 20 - BUT the forearms attach different and the stocks are different...

About 5 yrs ago I had a guy on ebay by the user ID of ht do two for me. I did exactly what you stated a 22 in and threaded for factory chokes. Seems like to me his tooling would only do Winchester chokes on 20 and on 12 gauge your choice of Remmy or Winny or visa versa can't remember. He done great work.

Handis 223 Superlight, 357 Maxi x 2,
Pardners 410 22''full, 20ga Tamer, 20ga 20' threaded for chokes youth model, Pardner 12ga 18.5 threaded for chokes.
too many numerous ones that have been sold

I had a 20 gauge Topper barrel done by Mike Orlen. I didn't have mine cut down/shortened.....just threaded for choke tubes.

I had a 20 gauge barrel threaded by ht from eBay a while back and was going to have another done but couldn’t find his ad.

I got ahold of him through private message and he told me that eBay will no longer allow him to sell gun smithing services.

He has an ad on Guns American now.

$70 to cut and thread plus the shipping to him. Return shipping is covered.

I agree. He did too for me and one 20 ga and one 12 ga. He did an awesome job on both and I think that was the going price then.
