Default H&R 1900 shotgun barrel on modern frame?

Can a H&R model 1900 shotgun barrel be easily fitted to a SB 1 frame? I know the 1900 has a hole for hinge pin instead of the half round for easy barrel removal. Curious if you cut the lug at center of hole if the rest would lock up in a modern frame?

Thanks in advance

Maybe, but my M1908 12ga barrel won't fit any of my frames, the underlug is a touch wider for one thing, it seems like it might fit, but appears to be slightly longer also, dunno if it could be made to fit or not.

I wont say no cause someone will Do it and stick it under my nose...

But its not easily accomplished. As Tim says the block is wider. I have looked at it myself years ago. (Love my 1900!!)
