Default Broken transfer bar

I just found a broken transfer bar in one of my newer receivers, when or how it fell out moving it from one cabinet to another I don’t know. I have a spare so it’s just a matter of sitting down with it. I’ve read somewhere that the old hammer with the half **** can go in and leave the transfer bar out, will they swap without other modifications?

See the low profile hammer mod part 2 in the FAQs, it requires the use of a modified double coil spring.

That would be great if those links still worked. Went to the FAQ's, scrolled over half way down and clicked on the low profile mod part 2. That brought up the home page. Had had to use google to find it.

"site:go2gbo.com low profile mod part 2" in a google search found https://www.go2gbo.com/forums/108-h-...-part-2-a.html as the first find.

Read the note in hot pink at the very top of the old FAQs page, or use the new FAQs link in the rifle forum, the old FAQs links have been broken for years, so nothing nothing new for anyone that's paying attention, googling has been the suggested work around since the site was moved to google cloud which broke all the old GBO links. The new FAQs link at the top of the rifle forum is to GBO Reloaded which has all the old links up to 2014, I left the original FAQs link because it has changes made since 2016 that do work.
