Default NEF 22 mag

Looks like I am going to revive this forum. Been dead for awhile. I just picked up a NEF sporter or sportster 22 mag for $150 at the gun show this weekend. Couldn't resist the price. Scope mount, no sights. Bluing a little thin on SB1 stamped receiver and a ding on outside of muzzle. Rifling looks good. Looking forward to shooting. What kind of accuracy should I expect from this thing?

Congrats! Got a pic of the frame? I've never seen a frame marked SB?. Sportster barrel should be marked SS1 tho.

U still haven't seen one.
The barrel is indeed stamped ss1. I didn't read it closely. Guess I had sb stuck in my head when I saw ss1.

Once again an example of why eyewitness testimony is so unreliable...

I love shooting my 17 HMR - I bought a 22 LR barrel and scope for it here a few years ago but made the mistake of letting my left handed niece shoot it. She fell in love with it. I ended up buying a receiver for it and gifting it to her, thinking I could find another barrel, but have not yet found one. Would love to find a 22 LR barrel and a 22 Mag barrel for mine. That is a great price - I think you will love it!
