Default Sights

I'm new here and very glad to have found this forum. I have been gifted an H&R Huntsman .50 cal (newer style that uses the primer holders) and I'm trying to sort some items out before it arrives. It has a scope on it but I don't believe my state permits hunting with a scope in ML season (plus I want to be prepared for other states I might go to). Unfortunately the original sights have gone missing and I'm having difficulty determining what to replace them with. I saw an older post here that recommended the Williams WGRS-H&R for a peep sight but it doesn't indicate if that's for the old or new style guns, or does that even matter? Additionally, I have no clue what to use for the front sight, I've seen some front sights for sale on spare parts websites but they usually talk about the Handi-rifle only so I'm a bit clueless there too. Maybe I'll better understand the answer to some of these questions when I actually have the gun, but I'd appreciate any insight you can provide.

Gun Cabinet

I have a WGRS on my .50 Huntsman, front sight is the same Williams shorty ramp and Firesight that I used on my 45-70 Handi, parts are listed in the FAQs sticky in the Peep and Firesights link. All modern Huntsman are .50, the original H&R Inc M156 Huntsman was only made in .45, .58 and 12ga.

Thanks much! On mobile view I've not noticed a FAQ sticky when I'm in this forum, I apologize for overlooking it, found it in desktop view.
