There are a couple of schools of thought on Handi Triggers.
There is the hard way, which involves taking the trigger apart, stoning or polishing all mating surfaces.
And there is the easy way which has to be used with some caution. The parts are surface hardened. If you go too deep, you can get into the soft metal below.
Essentially the easy way is to **** the rifle, I do this with the barrel off. **** the hammer, and putting forward pressure on the hammer pull the trigger. Your basicly using the parts to polish each other. But, don't go too far, or too light. As soon as you get the trigger to where it is acceptable. Quit.
I have one that I stopped at about the 2.5 lb mark, but it is still getting lighter. Down to maybe a pound and a half now. Someday I'll have to replace those parts.
So try it if you like. But use some common sense. Do as little as possible.
