Default 600

Well, I can't believe it but I finally found a 600 in 35 rem in atleast 95% at a tiny little gun show last Saturday. I've been wanting one in that caliber for many, many years as my dad has one and I've loved it since is was a kid. it has a fairly low serial number and dated it at Dec. of 1964. My dads is feb of 1964 with a serial # of less than 4000. The stock is darker than most 600's I've seen and actually has some tiger striping going on. I put a Leopold 1.5x4x20 on it with the pig plex reticle. This will be a fair weather deer blind gun only!...

Congrats on a great find! For my money the 600 and the 788 were two of the best bolt action hunting rifles Remington ever made.

And to find one in .35 Remington is a REALLY great find - perfect whitetail woods rifle!

Congrats on a great find!

I found a good deal on a M600 in .308 a couple months ago and grabbed it for $340. Very handy rifles. I put a 30mm Weaver 1-5x24 on mine.

I love the 600's. Have seen several in 308, 243 and even one in 6mm rem which I should've bought. Great price on that 308 by the way. These things have almost turned into heirlooms. I put a leopold 1,5x4x20 pig plex on mine which is about identical to yours.
