Default First bow kill

Bought a Centerpoint Sniper 370 from the B.I.L of a friend and these things are a hoot! Never hunted with the pointed stick before.
On the 23rd, a piebald button made the mistake if getting within range. Let him have a Muzzy 100 grain HBX in the chest. He ran 30 yards and gave it up. Didn't leave a drop for tracking though, this with a pair of 2 inch holes on each side of his chest, was a bit of a surprise.
Felt bad about the buttons, until I rolled him over and found he had meat but no taters... Just a little eating machine...
I like crossbows! Maybe not as much as my muzzleloader though.

The LORD bless and keep you.The LORD make his face to shine apon you and be gracious to you.The LORD look apon you with favor and bring you peace

X-C-LENT Don't worry about the buttons, usually not enough there to make soup anyway.
