Default original excalibur relayer

Hello! First time posting here.Just purchased a original Relayer with a cherry wood stock.Everything works, cocking mechanism, trigger, safety (safety comes on when it's cocked),all metal parts are in excellent shape.Stock shows signs of use and a slight crack near pistol grip.Limb has rough looking finish and is strung.Has sight pins and receiver site.Guy who sold it to me said it is a collectors item. I told him I was buying it to shoot. It handles and balances beautifully, light as a feather, sights line up perfectly when I shoulder it.Guy gave me 2 extra limbs to use if I want to shoot it rather than use the original limbs. Both are made by Astro Daco of Canada, one is for a Scorpion 150lbs. and the other is for a Hornet 120lbs. The Scorpion limb looks like it will work but not the Hornet.I have a scoped Excalibur Ibex but have always wanted a wooden stocked open sights crossbow.Question is- should I use this or does it have value as a collector's piece? If it genuinely has collector's value then I really don't want to use it and would rather sell it to someone who places more value on it. Also, is it safe to shoot?I paid $120 for everything. Thanks for listening, I hope someone has info on this. Thank you.
