Doves were my main hunting when I lived in California. My days off were during the week Wed. and Thur. I worked the morning shift on Tuesday and did not have to be back to work till Friday afternoon at 1 PM I would have all ready, drive home hook up my Airstream trailer and head north to Black Bute Lake They had a nice camp ground at the lake and we hunted a dry river bed that had lots of Oak trees around it and were always full of Doves, man that was good hunting those were the good old days. May have to try Dove hunting again Here in Oklahoma this year.
