Default Double 22 mag rifle

I own a delightful lefever double in 410 mfg in the 1930s. It has 3 factory chambers as stamped on the underlugs.

I bet it could be made into a delightful SxS 22mag I believe. But would probably cost more than it would ever be worth. Still it would be a unique and useful rifle.

Have you tried the Short Lane adapters for your gun? I believe they have .22 mag sleeves that fit in the chambers slightly off set for rim fire. It is a cheap way to convert. Don't know what kind of accuracy you would get, but it might be worth a try.

I actually thought of doing just that, but buying a bunch of slugs is a LOT cheaper! lol
