Question Stevens .22/410

I have an old Stevens .22/410 with the Tenite stock. It is in pretty good shape, but i was looking for a mount to fit this gun for a low powered scope or red dot sight. My old eyes don't see iron sights too well anymore. This gun does not have a grooved top barrel for a .22 scope like the later Savage rifles do. Does anyone know of a no-drill, clamp on type of mount that would fit this gun, and if so where I could obtain one?

I've had one for 45+ years, but never have heard of a way to put a scope on. I'd guess you could use a Weaver N mount, but that woud require drilling the shotgun barrel.

Not allot of options here.

I have seen folks have the grooves machined in. Benjamin and Sheridan air rifles used the have mounts that clamped to the barrels. If you remember, that had a similar stacked barrel like the Savage/Stevens. I dont at all know if the dimensions are the same. It just popped into my head.

A peep that mounts the re receiver is long discontinued but does pop up on ebay from time to time.

Good luck,
