Default A cautionary note..

.
Yes indeed, wrestling around while carrying is not wise, but this leads me to wonder.. Can I trust my Glock ?

I thought Glocks were striker fired and idiot proof. I guess not.

My first question is; Why was the Glock in "a pocket"?

Why was the Glock in his "pocket" while he was wrestlin with his little boy?

How did the Glock fall out of his pocket and hit BOTH in the head.

I'm thinking there's more to this.
Forensics will prevail here on, where that pistol really was.
IF, the police have done a complete investigation, they will have clothing, hand washings, and flooring in a forensics lab.

I was wondering just what kind of a wrestling position would they have to assume, where both got shot in the head ?

I'm not a fan of striker fired, but something doesn't add up here. For one thing, stupidity was a factor.

The Glock pistol is designed to only fire when the trigger is pulled. The trigger must have accidentally been pulled when he reached for the pistol when it fell out of his pocket.

Good observation. That's why many strikers now have a manual safety. People dont understand them.

Go striker ok, I just dont want one. Wife has a 43 she likes. But it isn't rattleing around in her purse or something like that.
She qualified with it for her CCW. Its on her little hip. Under her jacket.

to me claiming a glock is unsafe when one idiot shoots someone with one is about like saying all knives are unsafe because someone stabbed someone. MILLIONS OF GLOCKS are owned in this country! MILLIONS! If you jumped out of your pocket and killed people I doubt more then a couple hundred would have sold. Funny thing is there the weapon of choice of more police depts. then probably the rest combined and those are the people most likely to be rolling around on the ground with a loaded gun.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! STEEL FOR TANKS NOT FENCES!!!

If you want to know more about the Glock pistol, it's safety read the following article. It is a long read but tells you what you need to know.
