A war with China would drop our debt considerably, since China owns most of it, kind of like a Chapter 11 no?

Actually China owns about 1.5 trillion dollars of American debt.

Saiga,

From your chart $1,113 Billion is just north of $1 TRILLION, not a "billion or 2 max". Can't see how a war wipes out Treasury debt??? As i said before we could renege on our debt to China but then our credit goes to shia...

.
It would seem that any war outbreak, would cancel all debts between factors. We already have a much more powerful navy..a most critical element in any conventional war.
A nuclear war is unthinkable. If any nuclear exchange were to take place, it's generator would not be any of the major powers. A nuclear exchange would have to be initiated by some nutcase..such as Lil' Kim or an ayatollah..somebody whose power of reason is very blighted.
