I plan to start my tomatoes and peppers (in the basement) in about 2-3 weeks for planting Memorial wknd. Hoping the snow in the yard will be gone by then with no late blizzards.... Hopefully the weather over here in Kingsford cooperates.
My first mail order potatoes arrived today , which is odd as I told them to send them in mid Aoril plus these were a late addition to an earlier order that has not arrived yet.
I will just stick them in the basement where I keep the eating potatoes till the ground is ready which will be , depending on weather another month.
I always dump my coffee grounds in the garden over winter and till them under in spring; the pile is a foot high and three feet wide.
