The 5.5 was sitting in inventory at FA when I ordered it . I added the action job which added a few days before they shipped it .
The 4 1/4 model in the bottom pic was right from First Stops inventory.

Thanks. That is what I was thinking. For some odd reason I have taken a liking to the octagon barrels, when previously I hated them. That usually adds to my turnaround time.

Also, I've been ordering some non standard lengths, 6.0 and 6.25.

I'm not sure which way to go next. A 357 Model 97 probably makes most sense, but also don't have a 44 Spl or 500WE. Thinking a 6.5 inch Model 97 in 357 would be nice. A good mix of barrel length to get accuracy and speed, but not too long to remain portable.

Check with SMJ Sports . That guy has dozens of models 97 and 83 in stock and he orders some with non standard barrels.

To the OP....I've got the identical M97 .44 spl. Ordered about 10 years back and as I remember had to wait 5 or 6 months to get it. Lovely little jewel. Congrats!
