Default Prayer request

I learned earlier today, at the Lima gun show, a friend on mine, that sets up at the show across from me, is in real need of some prayers. His name is Tom Meeks. He's on a police dept. here in Ohio. His son is 16, his name is Tom also. 3 weeks ago, 16 year old Tommy lost control of his car, slide into a telephone pole. Snowy and slippery. He is still in the hospital in an induced coma. Severe head injury's, part of the skull removed to allow for swelling. Doctors estimation is 2 years to get back speech and movement. Tom was actually on duty and the first on the scene. This family needs some comforting. Another post will be in the prayer request forum. Thanks--gypsyman

I stopped by here to see if there were any post about the Spring shoot and see your post. It seems that we go along with our lives looking for everything to go our way, and then we see something like your post and it really wakes us up to all that we have to be thankful for. I will definitely pray for young Tom and his family. I will also thank God for all of the blessings he has given me and mine. The Bible says that all things will work for the glory of God, and while I am sure jot is true, I doubt that anyone here can see how this can, just trust in God.
