I wonder if that bear felt the love from that Subaru?

Why be difficult, when with a little extra effort you can be impossible?

Only be a matter of time before they arrive in Indiana... Maybe a future bear season in Ohio? That would be something to add to your chili BB.

I hope ohio bears taste better than the ones I shot in ontario.

We have had a couple bear run over and one shot attempting to crawl into a house in my area of Ohio. The Ohio River is between us and WVa. I believe the Bears here are Pa bears. They cross into Ohio above Ohio River and travel south along the
river hills. The futher south they come the rougher and less populated the counties become, until hill country runs out. Many
local people have seen bear. The local news papers are always reporting sightings. I have not been lucky enough to see one yet.
I have seen tracks on several occasions. We also are getting a population of Bobcats which were rare 20yrs ago. I have seen
several of them. On the minus side we were hit with a coyote plague the last 20yrs or so and they have put a major hurting on
small game and run groundhogs to near extinction.

The yotes are bad across ohio. I hunt vinton county and when the yote population skyrocketed the grouse disappeared overnight. I haven't seen a grouse in vinton county since 2001.
