My oldest son got a nice 6 point 2 weeks ago with his crossbow but has seen nothing since gun season started.

I took a nice doe, passed on a fawn and a fork horn.

Not in Ohio, but here in Virginny, a nice doe feel to my .41 Super Blackhawk Bislely yesterday evening. She will make #4 in the freezer when I'm done with her. Gonna eat goot!

I believe all of the OH deer have left for Florida or somewhere else.
I have a mom doe and a yearling that come everyday about dark or later into my yard to eat persimmons but I leave them alone. Hunted the first day and didn't see any, since then I can't get excited enough to get bundled up and go get a sore back to watch bluejays and squirrels.

4 pt on a lottery hunt in mid October. Button buck last sunday morning on private property. Both with a RARR in 450BM. During the 7-day season i hunted in Vinton, Fairfield and Henry counties and only heard 3 shots. Deer don't seem to be moving much this year.
