Pastor Carl Gallups, Are we in the last days?
I try to live my life as if I knew that tomorrow was the last day.:tango_face_angel:
And ignore all the hoopla.
He brought out the Ezekiel references, think I will be reading up on those chapters.
We know our destiny in Christ, FAR TO EASY, to live for our destiny and forget we have an assignment while we are here.
Romans 8-14 instructs us to be led by the Spirit, and that doesn't mean by our own flesh.
And it looks to be a requirement, not an arbitrary choice, similar to the requirement we keep our minds "stayed on Him"
Here is one from Charles Stanley on being led by the Spirit. Spiritual pup that he is.
all the signs are there
the U.S. is not mentioned in "final day" prophecy.
it may be that:
1. it may be defeated in a war.
2. it will break into different countries/nations
3. it will become politically and militarily too weak to compete.
4. it will become an isolationist nation
IMO, reason #2 is most likely due to political division. Jesus Christ stated "A divided house cannot stand".
we, today, are witnessing a political and ideological division within this nation unlike any other we've seen: democrat hates republican, republican hates democrat, poor hate the rich, rich hate the poor, the list goes on...:tango_face_sad:
He had a very clear grasp of how to recognize these signs taking place today and how to continue in faith.
glad you enjoyed.
