I rarely get a close shot at a deer, at least close enough for slugs, so the bottom bbl. it is, and that bottom bbl is VERY accurate,

The combined regulation is pretty good too,

but the rifle bbl is where it's at when you have longer shots.

I think I'm up to 40 big game animals in the freezer with this drilling, starting with this decent bull moose,

and all of them with the rifle bbl...

It's been a fantastic gun for me, it had a birthday a couple months ago, it turned 84. lol

Anyway, I've shot some huge bodied bucks with it,

and some that have pretty decent antlers,

It's been a joy to own and carry, and I have to admit it, I fell in love with it the first time I laid eyes on it... lol

Drilling man haven't seen you around much.

How's the warm weather wood cutting going?

Dang, I haven't cut any wood for quite some time, and on top of that, my trailer is sitting full of wood to split!!

I changed propane suppliers and got propane for a decent price, so I'm heating some with propane this winter.

I would think so not cutting fire wood next winter and not feeding a fire box just mess with the therostat to stay warm.
