Hi, took friend to range to shoot Henry Big Boy H006M for first time. While I was fiddling with a Marlin, he shot 8 rounds of 357s and took loading tube out. He then, with the action still open, loaded another 8 rounds and when he went to cycle the action, could not get it to close. No matter what we tried could, we not release action.
After the range outing, went home and called customer support, and was told a round was most probably stuck as the result of not closing lever down. I was told to remove lever screw and the round would jingle out. Did that, no jingle, no round fell out. Now sending rifle back to Henry.
Anybody have any idea what the issue is? Rifle was functioning fine before that?
Like to hear what else it could be.

Had a hard time getting the tube to twist and release tube to place in rounds, and then could not get the brass tube back in. Seems the twist latch will not pass through to lock up the feeding tube.
Off to my FFL where I bought it, as he will see clearly the problem, and either get a new brass feed tube or send it back to Henry.
Glad I was taking it to the range!
My gunsmith told me the O ring was too big and changed the O ring to smaller one. All works well now.

Henry customer support fantastic. Called and Deanna told me a round most probably caught. Took out lever but no round. Told me to print out UPS label and send back. Im sure it will take longer with Coronavirus, but understandable.
