I'm truly sorry to hear that news. I figured something had to be going on with him as he hasn't been posting here much in a long time and he hadn't called me in a long time either. He used to call all the time often while out hog hunting and we'd talk for long times.

I'm going to move this to the Gone but Not Forgotten forum where such info is maintained and doesn't get lost in the other clutter of forums tho I do think you chose a good place since many of us knew him personally from the PD shoots we had out there in OK.

Thank you very much for letting his friends here know of his passing.

Welcome to the Forums TJ and I am sorry for your loss. I did not know "D D", but the loss of GBO Members weighs heavily across all of this site. My prayers are for you, his family and friends.

I've never met the man, but we've talked on the phone many times over the last decade, he usually called when out hunting as Bill mentioned, I sold a scope to him just a few months ago, he called a few weeks ago, said he was coughing up blood and diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, I thought he would mention it on the forum, but he never did, I called him a couple times since and left a message, he will be missed. Condolences to his family and all his friends.
