Paul spoke of how it is as though those who have gone before are watching and cheering us on, the veil is getting thinner and we will soon be reunited with them.
bless you brother

Come quickly, Lord Jesus

Very sorry for your loss. I understand the hurt. I lost a woman friend a couple weeks ago i knew for 65 years. Same as your friend. Sudden heart attack. Again sorry for your loss.

Gun Cabinet

Thanks everyone! I still catch myself wanting to call and discuss something gun related with him every now and then. His son is much younger than I am but he's growing up real fast. I hope he's able to slow down a little bit and mourn.

Thanks, Dinny

Dinny I understand you getting the urge to call your buddy knowing he is gone. It is natural and respectful of your friend. I know that I still have an urge to call Gun Runner about a reload or about the 1/2 case of 45 L.C. cases I have. He already has/had the front half. As I grow older I keep recalling the "old vets" that have influenced my life, Gun Runner being one; a retired Navy vet from the Vietnam period.

Since he passed I purchased a S&W Shield, I had the urge to run over and show him the Shield and ask him for his recommend load. I am still loading bullets he cast for the 9MM and I know he would recommend 3.9 grains of Bullseye.
