Are you sure that is not a weathersheild frame? It could be the picture but it doesn't look like a stainless frame in the last picture on the Inside the frame.

I believe you are correct. Good catch. Just picked it up last week for the barrels. Don't need the frame. I knew nothing about the Weathershield coating. Thanks!

Just a thought, I wound up with 2 encore 209x50's.
...one SS and one blue.
...swap for one?

Already have a smokeless barrel. Really just looking to thin the herd. Thanks though.

Weather shield is better than stainless.More corrosion resistant and harder.

Thank you for the information. I have multiple Contenders but only a couple of Encores an did not know if all the barrels and frames were interchangeable.
