Default Rem 788 .222 for sale

So, no love for the CZ I have for sale so lets see if anyone is interested in this one.
I am at the age now that I need to thin the safe and do not really shoot either of these rifles much anymore.
Remington 788 .222 I have had this one longer than I can remember kinda hate to let it go. It has been hunted and it shows. Some one before me had the barrel crowned and reblued and must have had the trigger worked on, as it is the best factory 788 trigger I have ever squeezed. Round count unknown. I have shot a little over 300 rounds.

$365.00 shipped non FFL to FFL, check, cash, PMO

Just curious, how does it shoot? Has it been glass bedded? I have a friend who is a 788 nut and is interested in this one!

I, believe it is bedded, you can pass a dollar bill almost to the shank of the barrel.

I have tried several handloads through the years with this one, most all shot 1-1.5 moa at 100 yards. Good enough for it's intended use shooting varmints around the farm.

I wish it was in the 308 family (243, 7mm-08,) I would have bought it yesterday.
