Default Can a Post be moved from one forum to another?

I posted an item for sale in one classifieds forum. After searching through Gaybeard Outdoors (just looking around) I noted similar items in a different classifieds forum; these similar items were getting more hits and better results in responses and "sold".

Is there a way to move a posting / thread from one to the other?

Or, is the correct way to indicate in the title the posting is being closed / moved to a different classified forum within Graybeard Outdoors? And, if so, is there a time delay from clossing one thread to opening another? This may be written someplace (I did go through Rules and elsewhere), but if so I missed it.

Yes, posts can be moved, but only by moderators/admin, for classified ads it depends on what's being sold., post a link to the ad and we'll move it if appropriate. If it's the Bergara stock, I already moved it to Firearms and Ammo where it should have been posted to begin with, General is for items that don't have a respective classified forum, Firearms and Ammo covers firearms and parts as shown in the forum listing header.

Thank you for moving my post.

I saw "stock for sale" in the General Classifieds forum, and why I put my ad there to begin with. Later, I saw stocks listed in the Firearms and Ammo forum as well, then watch the responses were viewed and responded to more frequently there.

Again, thank you for your assistance.
