Default please fix the ads to load faster

it sure does screw up everything waiting for the ads to load.
the gay gun guy in the corner seems to take the longest.
since i use the public library computers, i can't load any ad blocking
programs like i could when i had one at home.

Hello there,

I'm giving this a test right now and it seems like I'm getting 2-3 seconds of load time.
Are you still having issues with this today?

the little messaging in the lower left hand corner are scrolling through
the lists of ads waiting to load-
"waiting for tribal fusion"
"waiting for rubicon something-something"
"waiting for proxy tunnel"
"waiting for adlink"
"waiting for so-on and so-on through a big long list. . . .

if i'm trying to search through a lot of different topics
and scroll down or up, it gets stuck until the "motion" ads
load, and then it'll proceed until i do something else
with the mouse, and it starts over again

Try this: SHIFT-CONTROL-DELETE link:

SHIFT_CNTRL_DELETE

After that "cleaning" turn your PC OFF, wait 30 seconds, turn it ON, logon to GBO and see if it has cleared.

If that does not clear slow to load ads, try this link at steps 4, 6, and 7:

Cleaning Your PC (IBM)

It is suspect that your computer CACHE is set very low. As you arrive at GBO, and it tries to load ads, your PC first has to delete part of the cache to allow the new ads to be temporarily saved. Set you cache higher. How? I am looking into it for the IBM computer. Standby....maybe Admins know. I will make a sticky in Administration when I find out.

If Admin will assist, I believe cache can be limited or expanded here (but I don't know for certain; these are my settings for Windows 10).

FYI, Those settings aren't for caching internet browsing, they are for caching Windows updates to share with others (so you let others use your bandwidth instead of Microsoft's.)

if someone diddles with them in any way other than
to use them to look up stuff or post or check e-mails
and such, they'll get rowdy and read you the riot act
and possibly toss you out.

it's not a computer problem as far as i know
(i'm for sure not any kind of computer expert)
since this is the only site i visit that gets clogged up
and stutters
