So many are forgetting "innocent until proven guilty"...and I don't care what side they are on!
Now, I am going to say something which will fire some up; but I from what I understand, there IS a statute of limitations. It may be a generous one, and I hope it is ..say 10-12 years. ..But if it goes on 20-30-40 years with no complaints, it apparently didn't bother anyone very much.
If somebody brings such a thing up 20-40 years after the fact, as far as I am concerned, it is motivated by money, politics, notoriety..or they were complicit in the action.
After 10-12 years pass by with no complaints..any complaints after that point, should be ignored.
Don't folks realize, these are nothing more than accusations at this point? Anybody can ACCUSE anybody at any time, and with the fanatical people we now have involved in politics now (e.g. OWS, BLM, antifa, etc) there would likely have many who would falsely accuse a target individual of molestation, especially if the accuser already had a sleazy reputation to start with.
Then..the possibility of getting paid big money just to 'shut up'...well, you can see the picture. Perhaps the biggest crime is that some regular folks believe an ACCUSATION to be as good as a conviction..
Remember the Duke Lacrosse players... They would be in jail yet, were not one of the team members parents wealthy enough to force it to a conclusion.
