Default If you live in a conservative or Republican run state..

If you live in a conservative or Republican run state, count your blessings ! ...And vow to NEVER vote for a liberal or Democrat..

The Democrats of New Jersey are considering water..both tap water AND rainwater:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/new...-with-rain-tax

Our stinking Democrat NY State government once tried to tax landowners with private wells..but a Republican led senate cut that bull***t short.

Legal robbery.
I would never vote for a democrat. They want full communism; full control of your life and your wallet.

I live in a republican county in southern mi. All elected officials run as republicans. I am a conservative republican and I was a county commissioner here for 5 yrs. I quit running after 5yrs because once elected so called republicans act just like democrats. I was an army of one trying to reduce the size of local govt. and reduce tax burden on citizens and business. Once people have access to public money they lose any common sense they had.

In Midland, Tx homeowners and businesses are taxed on rain runoff based on the estimated square footage of their roofs. This is in addition to the already established municipal fees for sewer, water and trash. This was enacted last year is supposedly it will be used for rain water runoff mitigation/storm drainage but based on past performances of the city government and city council I'm betting the funds will be diveted elsewhere for other projects. Really doesn't seem to matter whether you live in a conservative area or not.

Pull your heads out of the FOX hole and do some checking. It’s about runoff and pollution. For a state that makes a lot of money off of the sea shore taking steps to keep it nice may be a good idea.

You have not been in NJ in a long time; the last the beaches were nice there was in the 1960's. You need to get out more and look around. Its just another way to take peoples money.

If history has it way Virginia will be blue for awhile. Before 1964 the county's ran the Commonwealth now the city's do. Back in day go to Berryville and kiss Byrd's ring and get elected.

Well, I sure would rather have my head in a fox hole, rather than the hole where most Democrats have their heads planted !
