Default typical texan

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/lon...-surprise-move texas senator single handily block a disaster relief bill holding keeping people from getting relief and help and even going against the presidents wishes to try to push for his selfish agenda and that stupid wall bs that he knows he doesn't have a chance in of ever happening. Like a spoiled child that isn't getting his way with daddy. I could see the and hear the wining when I read that. Real sad thing is hes a republican. Just add him to the list of recent republican traders. Yup texas first and there rest of the country comes second. I think ive heard that before.

Did you read the story of why? I did and I actually agree with the action. They were about to commit to $19 billion in spending with almost no members there to consider and approve it.

Yep. Another Pelosi, "We have to approve this bill to see what is in it."

Killing it, even though the Gulf States don't get Federal funding right away, and Puerto Rico - sounding more like the spoiled child than this Congressman, shouldn't get either funding or Statehood until they change their tune..

True that. I don't see the Virgin Islands acting like Puerto Rico does. In fact we hardly ever hear about them.

Bill, the way I read it is the senate already passed it 85-8 and president trump thought enough of it that he backed off adding the wall funding to it so it would pass. 85-8 pretty clearly shows both republicans and democrats thought these people needed help with no bs involved.

Didn't read it well enough. This "Texan" as you call him is NOT a senator, but rather a representative. Seems pewlosi was wanting to sneak it through on a "consent vote" (without a vote of the House). BTW, aren't you the guy that keeps saying we should be "Americans" and not "Texans" or "michiganers", etc? And there you go attacking someone for the state their from. Hmmm.

Aim small, miss small!!!
