What we need are a few rows of land mines on this side of the fence and a smaller fence to keep dumb people from wandering into the minefield...

yup maybe they ought to raise our taxes to pay for ways to defend the wall that is suppose to actually work. Maybe start a congressional committee to study the problem then hire crooked contractors to spend a couple more billion. All the time we spend on this is just a distraction that allows even more drugs to be FLOWN into this country. Anyone that really thought that a couple hundred miles of fence that could easily even be walked around was going to stop illegals from crossing the border probably believes in the easter bunny anyway. Sure will make a nice canvas for there art work though.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! STEEL FOR TANKS NOT FENCES!!!

Mandatory eVerify and confiscate the assets of anyone employing an illegal would put an end to it quickly but good luck getting your Rep or Senator of either party to vote for it.

that and closing government aid programs there given. We could cure the problem and cut our tax burden with the same stroke of the pen But then that would make common sense and the people from the border states wouldn't feel special.

How anyone that claims to be a fiscal conservative can support the wall is beyond me. A complete and total waste of OUR dollars.

No wall is impenetrable. It needs to be guarded also. We have 50 states with national guard units that train for two weeks every year. And 52 weeks of the year. Have them train on grounds adjacent to the border wall make a quarter mile strip along the border in remote areas a live fire range... I still think a barrier isn't a bad idea it at least slows a few down.
