Default Haircuts?

What are you doing about getting one? I was at the point that I was in need of one when the panic hit. Not not being well trimmed doesn't really bother me a lot but it's the kidding I'm having to take from my wife. She's threatening me with a permanent. No way, no how, I can outrun her.

I also wonder about how mad women are getting over this situation. No dye jobs, roots showing, hair getting long and frizzy, no manicures. True looks coming to the surface and no easy way to hide them isn't going to fly well with the female population.

Kinda new here but you're thread stuck a cord. My wife was a barber for many a year so I don't have problems with hair cuts. As a matter of fact I have got pretty good at keeping her hair trimmed. Just don't ask me for a perm.

I have cut my own hair since 1973. And yes, I shave around my ears, and neck, with a straight razor.
I tried one of those $18.00 hair cuts about a year ago, and she also wanted a tip, so I gave her a 20, and went back to what works for me.

I get my son to cut mine easy 1/4" all over tighten up the neck, not worth 20.00 not that much left on top. If I let it go to long kids refer to me as Beaker from the Muppets....

My wife was a barber for many years. She sold the last of her barbershops last year and retired. We do have a barber chair in one of the spare bedrooms that we use as an office. She has had many calls (at least two dozen) from former clients in the past three weeks wanting to come out to the ranch for a haircut or a shave since all of her old shops are closed. Unfortunately, we are senior citizens and we have our 9 year-old grandson here with us until this virus thing passes so we have not allowed any visitors. My grandson and I went fishing this morning and came home to homemade biscuits, bacon, and gravy followed by free haircuts. Life is good this side of the creek.

Pretty low on the priority scale at this time. We miss our masseuse more. Being retired, a haircut is a non-issue.

They say we are only a few weeks away from knowing all the women's real hair color.

As for me, I had a haircut just before this shutdown started. I can hang on a few more weeks.

I think I agree. A nice message right about now would do my wife and me wonders. Unfortunately that is out of the question. Not to many masseuses in my neck of the woods. Guess I'll have to stick to a nice head message instead along with a nice straight razor shave from the misses.

The other half decided if some women really wants her hair done, I will drop her off at her shop, she will tell the customer to park on the street down a bit and knock on the back door.
Once she is in she will lock the door.
There are no windows to peek in.

I have a problem with people touching me. Especially my head. So I cut my own hair. May not be perfect but I make up for it with my sparkling personality...
