Default Leaders don't act like this.

A Leader is the one, who in a Republic, has been elected, that the people follow willingly, not blindly, because the judgement of that elected official is generally believed to be sound, with the same wants and needs of the prople.

Is the Governor of your state exhibiting judgement that the citizens of your state are in agreement with? Or is your Governor over stepping the authority the people have given to the office, and trampling on Constitutional rights in the process?

Our governor has shown good judgement about nothing since she took office.

I ain't too happy with how Nevada's liberal Goobernor has handled things. Nevada is part of some eleven Western State "alliance" (I prefer cabal) to allegedly fight COVID-19. On April 27, Any-twosome Newsom extended Kalifonia's quarantine to May 15. The very next day, our elected idiot did the same. The number of deaths and hospitalizations in Nevada escapes me, but I'm sure it's nowhere near as bad on a per capita basis as is found in the other States.

Just looked on covidusa.net: per capita death rate in Nevada is 0.011% (345 souls) of the State's population. That's one person in ninety-one not surviving the disease. The deaths in New York City is 20,476. I can't get back to the page that gave me the number in Nevada, so I'll have to just leave the comparison unmade.

The American People must forever retain the Right to own the arms best-designed and best-suited to bring an expeditious end to any tyrant whom would deign to separate The People from their Liberty as bestowed upon them by God.

Yup. There'a lot of that going around at the moment. Here in Pa the Legislators have initiated a bill that would quite effectively prevent the Governor from over stepping his bounds by preventing any "emergency" action to be longer than 10 days duration, then, if necesary, could only be extended by 10 days at a time through the legislature. It will require a 2/3 vote to be veto proof, but Gov Wolf seems to have ensured that won't be a problem.

Good luck reigning in your Gov too!

That won't happen here. The same liberal idiot cabal that she is from is in control of both our house and senate so we will never get even a bill from them. The only option is to vote her out of office in the next election and I have grave doubts about that. Too many norther liberals for the sparsely populated conservative parts of the state to overcome. We are probably stuck with her for six more years.

Maybe I'm reading the writing on the wall wrong, but I see the whole Democrat party suffering the effects of the Dem Governors in the next election. Really hoping that despite the terrible effects of this flu a blessing in disquise will emerge and the American Republic will be rid of the Democrat/socialist menace for at least a few years.

.
Gov Cuomo, who the cities force upon the rest of us, is not highly regarded by the folks who are not sheep or are not sponging off the rest of the people.
I know of one young lady who is sewing up masks, which display the following phrase..

THIS MASK IN STUPID..AND SO IS MY GOVERNOR.

ND's govenor is a bit of a nobody, but he's not going around stepping on toes either.

I think a few mistakes were made here, probably more on the federal level. For example 650 cases in the whole state, 300 in Fargo, of those all but 6 were self isolating. We have 3 hospitals in this town, county shows 100,000 people. Of all those infected, 6 are in hospital. And they deside to convert the Fargo Dome into a hospital.

A moneth later I think we have 15 in hospital.

Seems to me someone overreacted. But I don't think it was our governor. I think he just got caught up in the big federal song and dance circus.

Interests wide and widely varying.
Happily married 18 years. Retired on SS with lots of time to spend.
Started with .223 Ultra Bull barrel. Added .357 Talo barrel. Added an action and stock set bought here, 7.62x39 barrel. Then bought complete guns .444 Marlin and .300 Blackout. Leaving me at 4 complete rifles plus a barrel. Plus a 9mm stub job bought here, and I have been finding and buying H&R shotguns at our local pawn shop where they seem to go cheap.
