Can 243 LBC brass be formed practicaly from 7.62X39?
I have a bunch of 7.62 X 39 winchester brass and I am cheap.
Thanks,

Yes, I have not done it, because I do not have any x39 brass. If I had some, I would be using it in my 243LBC/6 Grendel.

Thanks, I think I will stick with a 6X45. Seems like a lot less fuss.

Actually using Grendel brass, reloading for the 243LBC is just as easy as 6x45, one pass through the FL resizing die, and your GTG.

I still love my 6x45, it is a great choice.

The 243 LBC is a great long range round. Of course you cry a bit if you loose a piece of brass but not too badly. I think that I may well build one for very long range target matches. The 6X45 does, of course, have the cheap brass but sometimes you have to spend the $$'s to get the results.

PS: I think this new 6 MM wildcat will be like a 6X45 on steroids. They sure look neat and the groups are super so far.

The best gun for self defense? Any loaded one will do!
