Default my 2015 Muzzleloader buck

Had a special muzzleloader draw hunt in Oregon last Nov. and got this nice 4x3 Blacktail. 50 cal Traditions muzzleloader, using a 320 grn lee real bullet. rws Musket cap and 110 grn Shockeys gold ffg powder.

WOW! Isn't that a pretty nice deer for a Blacktail? ??? I've never seen a live one, but I have heard you're pretty lucky to even see one with antlers. :-\

ya bucks are very nocturnal, and they live in steep brushy thick terrian. My dad cusses and swears at them. He grew up in PA hunting whitetails and always talk about how easy they were to hunt. I have always hunted blacktails in SW OR so that's all I know.

Congratulations. That is a great blacktail.
One of the larger that I have seen, but I don't get out West much.
Saw a good number in the state of Washington a couple years ago but not like that one.
Here"s my whitetail from VA BACK IN '17.
