Absolutely! It was incredible to see. It went perfectly I think. Only thing I didn't see is if the 3rd booster core made it down to the drone barge and landed ok as the video feed was lost on that? The 1st & 2nd cores came back and landed great.
A great day for SpaceX no doubt.

Took them about 2 years to master landing a single booster. May take a while to master landing all three boosters on the Falcon Heavy. Either way we now have a rocket that can get us back to the moon and send probes to Mars or beyond. All from a private company that stays focused.

Placing a car in orbit around Mars? I am more interested in the revolutionary space suit which SpaceX will be
testing very soon.

The spacesuit was on the dummy in the Tesla, in open space. Don't know if they have sensors on it to test it.

No cost to the tax payer I read somewhere. It was 100% privately funded.

Musk is nuts----------

First he wants to tunnel under LA. So he starts.

Then the flame thrower. He says this is a stupid idea-- but fun. It sells out.

Now a sports car to Mars!

He is nuts. I LOVE IT !

Video of Starman in the car in space.

The dummy is supposed to have sensors. But a car in orbit around Mars? Shades of Howard Hughes.
